Subscription to regular login help please.........

Ok. If link a page in the forums, and I am a subscriber, I have to edit the link and put fourms where subscriber sits. Is there a way to just login as a regular member to avoid this?
The only reason I wanted the subscription was to increase private messages. To manually change the address everytime is really annoying. Can I just login as a regular person and still have the higher private message count?

Don't think they'll change this. But just incase they take it to heart, there is one more incywincy thing they could look at: if you include an in-page anchor (the <a name> tags) for a non subscriber link, it is stripped from the address when a subscriber clicks on the link and is redirected. example:

The #6415400 is stripped, so you cannot link directly to a post.

Ok I got my answer in the off topic thread. I would like to state though that it would be a nice feature to have....

Umm this is already there, ify ou click on a forum link it loads it in the subscriber forum. Its your duty to remain logged in to use this feature.

Zuni. My request was for the ability to give others links without having to edit the link so they could see the page. Not so I can automatically go to a link for normal visitors.

Ahh, ok, I doubt we'll be going down that route as we do not want to heavily modify this product for the sake of easy upgrades.
