subscription notice emails

Would it be possible to have the option of plain text or html emails sent?

I often check my email with a quick little program that dosen't support html, the new subscription update messages are loaded with html, it'd be nice to have the option of plain text or html email messages.
 
Gonna bump since this seems to have dropped off, as well as include a link to a plain text message (as seen by my quick email check)

Despite the wrapping, it's harder to actually copy/paste the full link now - before it was its own simple line.

Or am I simply one of the few people that dosen't keep a html enabled email client open to check?
