When I get a PM (or email) that someone has replied to a topic, the link shoudl automatically take me to the last page or last post in the thread. Most other forums do this but here I click the link and then have to click the >> for last page and then scroll down to the last post.

Any reason this isn't done already?

Agreed. I have always been annoyed by this.

Possibly because every person has different settings.

This could prevent the page number from being pasted into the URL that is sent to you.

The only away around it could be to have some type of indicator to position to the last page within the URL command.
This would have to be a Fusetalk implimentation. Send them the recommendation.

Yes but the forums are coded to work around that. THey just need to set it to LASTPAGE or whatever the variable is and it would automatically go to the end of the thread. I'd be surprised if FUsetalk didn't already support this and it's just not enabled here for some reason.

I like that suggestion, because just viewing what a poster has posted last within the email topic notification with a link to the entire topic itself isn't good enough. I don't know if FuseTalk is known for this kind of thing.
