Subscription expires middle of the month. Guess this is it.

It has been a great year at ATOT. Hate to say this but I don't think I'm gonna re-subscribe just to keep myself from getting addicted to ATOT. Wish me luck and have a wonderful time neffing your way in ATOT.

Mine expired in February, and due to lack of funds and the faster non-sub servers - I see no reason to re-up. Now if they took Paypal, I might re-up..

Although they haven't placed the requested features on a thread I have placed, I don't subscribe for their banning clause.

I'm not giving money then may be banned some time soon after with no hope of recovering my investment.

i dont see a reason to resubscribe. Nothing new and different was ever released to make it worthwhile. Its been well over a year now. There was some talk of an IM type thing for subscribers, but it never went anywhere, apparently.

Yeah, I kinda doubt I'll resubscribe when mine expires in August. There really isn't anything better that's offered except the higher private message limit, and I have no real need for those. So much for getting something for your money.

I wish it had added voice chat or something like that... Heck it's 21st c e n t u r y! Of course, it's nice to post and read but at the same time there is always a need for more I guess.

since the features for subscribers arent much different, i always thought of paying up as a person's ultimate support of the forums, and that subscriber's should be given the props and respect thats due them for that...

I wonder how many people **WILL NOT** re-up when their subscriptions expire. And I wonder what kind of things Zuni and Anand will have to pull out to make it worth their while to come back.

I've seen my wife surf the AT forums, she is a non-subscriber and it doesn't seem nearly as slow as it was 1+ years ago.

Of course having broadband definitely helps.

I still find the ads annoying, 100 PM limit crippling and I have no problems in supporting these forums, so I'm a subscriber for life.

I did it when the non-sub forums were slow as hell. Now that they're up to speed I probably won't renew. Most of the features promised for subscribers never came. I think it was just a quick fix when they weren't doing well financially. Now that they're raking in money from advertiser revenue I don't think subscriber support is very necessary (hence they don't focus on it).

I think it would be great if the mods/admin/Anand considered ala carte subscriber services.

Such as maybe someone wants 5,000 PM's? Charge them just for that, I'm sure that FS/FT'ers would be all over this.

Maybe someone doesn't want banner ads?

etc.
