Was talking to RossMAN and he talked of the old AT subscriber service where you would pay a small fee each year and get certain perks (10,000 PM storage, custom title, ect). Wanted to know if that might ever come back? its kinda a pain to deal with 1000 PM limit and it would be cool to contribute to AT. Any word on this?

I joined the forum after they stopped taking new subscribers .. but before ppl's subscriptions ran out. I saw all the saddness and disappointment in a lot of the memebers when they expired. I did not, at the time, understand how ppl could be upset over NOT getting charged money for something. But now that I have been here a bit longer... I would not hesitate to become a subscriber.

:)

It was a 1,000 PM limit and ad free; that was the only perks IIRC Juice Box.

Weren't the subscribers on a separate and faster server? It felt noticeably faster to me when I was a subscriber.

I never did subscribe, because at that time I didn't have access to a credit card, but I can attest to the fact that the nonsubscriber forums were so slow at one point that it felt like one was browsing over a 21.6kbit/sec modem link even on DSL or T1.
