Subscriber e-mail notices

To use the increased speed of the subscription service you need to use subscriber.anandtech.com, which makes sense. However whenever you recieve a notice in a e-mail about one of your threads being updated (the other type of subscription), it points to forums.anandtech.com. Is this only because I just subscribed like 2 hrs ago, or is this a bug we need to have fixed?

Nothing needs to be fixed, any time you click on a link to the forums (PROVIDING YOU TOLD THE SERVER TO REMEMBER YOUR COOKIE) then it will take you to the subscriber servers. This is one database, one forum environment therefore the forums will always be known as forums.anandtech.com. But, we did put some tricks in for subscribers.

Hey Zuni, I thought you left. Anyways I'm glad to see you back here. So as long as I have the cookie set forums.anandtech.com should run just as fast as subscriber.anandtech.com?

Nevermind, I just answered my own question - forums.anandtech.com points to subscriber.anandtech.com.
