I gather that once a thread gets archieved, one's subscription to that thread gets removed from her "subscriptions" list (correct?)
I'm wondering if there's a way to keep those links intact. Frequently I'll subscribe to a thread, not have a chance or reason to look at it for a couple of months, then turn back to it only to see it's been archieved. Then I need to spend time searching for the same archieved thread over again....
So, I guess I feature request would be either that:
(a) old archieved threads be retained in one's subscription list, or
(b) when they get archieved, we get a PM or an e-mail saying, "the thread you subscribed to has just been archieved at (weblink.)
Does that seem doable? Or am I missing a technique for doing this already?
TIA, Dave
