I am wondering if it is possible to have a subdomian (such as home.domain.com) forwarded to my home webserver while haveing the top level domain (www.domain.com) continued to be hosted at my current host?

I have a dynamic IP at home so I would have to use as service such as dyndns.com to dynu.com.

Sure. Just create various Host (A) records on your Public DNS Server. You can have as many Host records as you need.

mydomain.com is at 35.332.444.3
www.mydomain.com is at 35.332.444.3
secondserver.mydomain.com is at 66.33.222.55
etc.

Edit: Uh...I forgot about your DynDNS issue. I imagine that they can create multiple Host records. If not, do your IPs REALLY change that often. Most broadband connections hardly, if ever, actually change IP addresses.
