Well, my point was its a band-aid. That Revo knuckle or whatever Ford is doing with the Focus ST sounds interesting....

Hrm, never heard of that before, but it does seem interesting. It reduces torque steer by changing suspension geometry, among other things.

Of course you wouldn't need a fancy knuckle if the car had a double A-arm front suspension like my '91 Honda Accord had. While it was no torque monster (even after the motor swap), between the suspension and equal-length half-shafts there was almost no discernible torque steer.
