Well finally decided that it is time to add an amp and either two 10's or two 12's to my Durango so I need suggestions. The biggest need is that the amp will need to be wired to the stock Infiniti system. So suggest away.

my suggestion is to get an aftermarket head unit to go along with your sub and amp.

also, any amp can be hooked into a factory radio but some are harder than others.

Just looking for something retail or are you interested in building the enclosure? (Saves money and you get more performance)

The enclosure will be custom built.

Unless you had something in mind, you could maybe try and incorporate the designs from this into it: http://billfitzmaurice.com/autotuba.html

Howard should chime in on this thread, he is probably one of the most knowledgable AT'ers when it comes to this stuff.

You're going to want to get an amp that has high-level inputs b/c the H/U will probably not have RCA outputs. JL, eclipse, ppi, zapco, phoenix gold are some of my favorites, but might be more $ than you want to spend. For the sub, a single high powered 12 in a quality sealed box will sound better than your average set of 2 12"s in a generic box.

www.sounddomain.com is a pretty good forum for learning the basic of all this.

I went with a JL 12w3 in a single ported box and a JL Slash 250/1. Sounds great especially for running off the stock head unit.
