sub-$75 2.1 speakers

ive been looking at logitech z430s
but are those the best i can get for under $75?
ive heard good things about creative, so which is their best for under 75
thanks

edit: imean z340

I'm going to say what's been said about 10,000 times. Get the logitech z-640's and take the 30 bucks and save for an audigy.

I'd say the Altec ATP3 set is still an excellent buy if music is more your interest with gaming as secondary. Office Max has them for $54. shipped +sales tax if applicable.
.bh.

Get the ATP3.. forget the logitech "tin cans" - they're way overrated
The Z340s used to cost $30, it was a decent deal then, but they're worth NO WHERE near the $50 they cost now.

if you can fork out a bit more cash, the altec lansing 4121 should be worth your money 🙂

I just heard my friend's Altec Lansing MX4021 today. Those things has AWESOME dynamic range, super crisp highs with ultra low bass.

Maybe this isn't useful to you, but I got a used pair of Klipsch Promedia 2.1s for $100 over in FS/FT. They're the best 2.1 bar none, for just a little more than your budget.

I personally love my JBL Creatures (Creature II availible via NewEgg). Originally purchased them due to the relatively low desktop impact, but they turned out to be very nice speakers.

wow the creatures look really good
i would worry about kicking the sub though. its so beautiful
what are some good creative speakers

If you can find them at a B&M Compusa then the Telex EVS Sonic XJR 2.1 seriers at $50 are THE best you will find at any price range.
