I currently have the following on Newegg. I'm looking to spend as little on this build as possible but I'd like to have a fast C2D (don't plan on OCing), 4GB RAM, and an HD 4870. Here's what I have:
CASE: COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW Black Aluminum Bezel , SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
MOTHERBOARD: Foxconn P45A-S LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
VIDEO CARD: VisionTek 900244 Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX 520W ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8500 - Retail
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT25664AA80A - Retail
HD: Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit English for System Builders 1pk DSP OEI DVD - OEM
Total comes to 1,016.12. If possible, I'd like to slim this down as much as possible. Also, is there anything wrong with it? I'm unsure about the motherboard, RAM, and PSU choices so I could use a bit of advice...thanks!
