can someone recommend ram that is between 70-100 to oc with the 1700+? i prefer 512 because i gotta buy mobo/processor/HSF/case/and power supply as well and wont have money for another 256 stick anytime in the near future. thanx

Don't buy no-name RAM from a no-name vendor. I'd recommend the Kingston HyperX PC3000 from newegg or googlegear or excaliberpc. No-name is a bad move. You want tight timings as well as FSB speeds when you're OC'ing.
I see "mtec chip" at the top. Isn't 512 Twinmos generally closer to $100? If you're feeling bold, try it, but a no-name shop probably isn't going to give you the best there is at prices better than the crowd favorites. I've been burned buying ram in a similar situation, but YMMV.
