Style XP question

I got the latest version of style XP, but when i bootup, it always starts out as the default theme/background, and not the theme/background i chose. I always have to choose it. I found an option to "reapply theme at startup", but that adds like 5 seconds to my boot time, and screws up other programs that start at the bootup.

The older versions i would just pick the background/theme and that was it, it would just stay like that forever, and wouldn't have to "reapply" itself at the startup. Would like it to be like that again. Anyone know how to do that? Anyone know what the funk i'm talking about?

Maybe try unclick 'reapply theme at startup' and goto your display properties instead of styleXP to get your desired visual style, background, etc... and it should stay like that, though I personally use reapply theme at startup.
