(I run on Win7 64bit and right now have FF 23.0.1)
There are several extensions for FF which allegedly serve the purpose to edit and override existing website CSS stylesheets. Among them "Stylish" and similar addons.
None one of them works for some reason.
In contrast to what all the extensions claim, the only way to override existing site CSS stylesheets is using some hackery by creating a "userContent.css" file in the profile folder, as described here: http://ffeathers.wordpress.com/2013/03/10/how-to-override-css-stylesheets-in-firefox/
But this is really more like a hack and not remotely a workable solution.
I just wonder WHY I can not select, say, custom CSS styles...not only with those addons to manage and add and then select new, custom styles...but also in general in Firefox?!
We have the View --> Page Style menu in Firefox, but the only options here are "No style" and "Basic Page Style". I could've sworn that many years back in Firefox there was the option to switch between styles.
I have something in mind like downloading an existing CSS stylesheet for a site, edit it and save it locally and then use the edited stylesheet....but there is simply no way to do this. Is my FF broken?
