I'm running a GameTheater XP on a KK266-R, currently with the luckydaze memorial day bios but I've also tried mushkinrules. I have stuttering and popping problems with all of my sounds, and I know that the problem is not my speakers. Any ideas?
 
Try running dxdiag. I was having stuttering, dxdiag reported outdated components, but installing directx wouldn't fix it. Forget dxeradicator for winxp also. Problem was I was running the SP1 beta.
 
Try the Hercules forum (if they still have one). Hercules' drivers for the GTXP have always been less than stellar (as bad as Creative's driver support). What version of the drivers are you running? Some people have better luck not loading the newest drivers. Good luck.
