Yesterday, I received my local newpaper. I started flipping through it and I saw an article about Net Neutrality.
Of course I read it because it was kind of shocking that this little paper wrote about it.
I got to the end of the article and see it was written by the Bellsouth Regional Director. If this was presented as an editorial then I would have no problem but it wasn't. It was presented as a story written by the new paper staff.
Not only that but the paper uses bellsouth in some capacity because their email is a bellsouth email address.
The other thing that pissed me off was pretty much the flat out lies presented in the paper. The sad part that people in my area don't even understand this guy was full of it.
I was going to write a letter to the editor about the conflict of interest but I figured posting it on Digg was a better idea. I hope it gets some diggs and the paper gets a lot of feedback.
