Moved across country because of friends I met here. (And because the job market where I had been was in negative growth and I needed to get out of there.) OK, so I don't consider that stupid, I'm very happy that I did it, but in the overall scheme of things, I'm sure that society would consider moving for internet friends to be rather stupid.
