The exam is on friday morning @ 9:00 am.

The only reason I'm such a wreck right now is that I totally bombed the mid-term I got 33%. I didn't have any time to study for the mid-term because I had 3 other tests and 2 assignments to do that week. (I was taking 6 classes at the time - full load + 1 night class)...

Anyway, now I need to get 75% on the final to finish with a C. That Grants Tutoring thing was great, but I haven't had a chance to go over it again until now. I've got to study hard for a few more hours tonight, then start back up again early tomorrow.

How did you get the prof to bump the grade?

i dunno. i had something like 90% on the midterm, but i bombed the final. he saw that i had done better throughout the year, and that i was just having a down day i guess. i appealed to him directly.
my suggestion would have been dropping it right after midterm. 33% is a hard mark to make up. but to late for that now. You still have a day and a bit, it'll be ok. Just remember. quit studying at about 10 or 11 on thurs night. and get a good sleep. u'll do far better that way. when you stress out you will get at least 10% less, gauranteed.

Yeah, math can be a bitch. I'm in bobo math right now, so I don't have to go to class to get 90s... It was failure after failure in high school, and now I'm taking high-school equivalent math in college. And it's soooo much easier. My average was something like 95% I didn't even have to pass the final to pass the course... although I'm sure I did, anyway. Next semester and the semester after that though, I will have to start working to get decent grades.

If you're worried about your grade, just take a coupla days, reserve them for studying, and cram like hell. My friend who is doing Cal-1 was afraid of failing, she pulled an 8-hour study session (only 2-min breaks to eat/drink, no breaks other than that) and a 5-hour study session the day after. All I can say is, I have confidence in her acing that exam and getting a good overall grade.
