WTF view is this and how do I get out of it?

Every time I've needed to use wireshark I've had a nice packet list that I could filter, sort, etc. Lots of information visible (source, dest, ports, protocol, expand to see contents, etc.).
Today I opened up a capture somebody sent me & all I get is this. I did a record on my own machine & I see the same thing, so obviously I've managed to get into some alternate view that I don't know how to get out of. I just want my nice packet list back!
FIXED:
I took the opportunity to upgrade to a much newer version of wireshark, which resolved the problem. I then noticed that by default there are THREE viewing panes, not two, & the middle one had simply been dragged up to cover the packet list I was looking for. I guess that's what happens when you don't use something for six months.
