I have a wrt54g linksys router. I can be RIGHT NEXT TO IT; and the signal drop to nothing. I've used netstumbler to use a channel nothing around me is using, and have tried different channels. It happens on two different wireless cards and computers. I've disabled the wired ethernet card, and it still happens. ARG.

yes.. it's disabled right now.. i had it enabled and it worked fine for awhile, then stopped for no reason. I named it "apt1805" (my apt #) im hoping someone starts using it.. then ill enable wep and they can come offer me $ to use it more, hehehe

might be just that your wireless router's wireless system is faulty. If you have time and its possible, RMA it or exchange it for a new one.

Thats wha ti did w/ my D-link one.
