So, I purchased a camera on ebay. It didn't function correctly, so the seller said return it. I shipped it via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation & Insurance. It turns out it was delivered, but to the wrong place. I shipped it to fremont (I printed the to address out, and on my receipt from the post office it has fremont, ca 94555) but it was delivered in Napa, CA 94558.
The seller never received it.

How long am I going to have to wait for them to deal with this?

So instead of paying extra and doing it via fex-ex and ups, you decide to ship it for cheap. You're now paying the consequences. Its your own fault, personal responsibility,

I've had better luck with USPS than with UPS and Fedex combined. It's not my fault, they're the idiots who put it in the wrong place. Despite having both a bar code that told it go to 94555 and a typed up To: address.

USPS Priority with DC and insurance is a perfectly legitimate method of shipping.

In my experience, USPS makes mistakes with a consistency that I envy.

Agreed.

You got insurance, file a claim?

Why didn't you do the whole shipping label and payment process through USPS online, and drop off the package at the post office counter?

Because I didn't have any way to weigh it. (I don't have a scale here, of any sort, if I need to weigh myself, I do it at the gym)

Honestly, I agree that you aren't asking a lot. Sorry this happened to you. I live in OR, my folks live in GA. They went to ship a package first class and were told it would take 2 weeks to get here. Priority isn't guaranteed anymore, ugh! USPS is such sh*t service these days.

USPS rocks, especially Priority Mail.

FedEx/UPS Ground from coast to coast is 5-7 days.

Priority Mail goes coast to coast in 2-3 days, and it costs a LOT less than FedEx/UPS 3-Day Air.

Even though it was delivered to the wrong place... MI to CA was two days... I shipped it Thursday, it arrived Saturday.
