my worst fear happend today the stupid UPS people damaged my antec SX1030 case! I am so mad right now! has this ever happend to any of you? and what do I do next?

Write to UPS and the people that sent you the case. It's possible that the people you bought it from may have more leverage. Good luck.
damn that sucks....my friend onetime shipped his whole comp via UPS and banged it up. they refunded him for the whole computer and let him keep it. the parts still worked!! haha
You need to file a damaged goods claim with the shipper immediately. The best way to get UPS to honor the damage is to inspect the package as soon as the driver drops it at your door. I have shipped tons of stuff UPS and USPS and have only had a few items damaged. Every package shipped via UPS carries insurance. If the value is exceptionally high, the shipper can purchase additional insurance. Good Luck and DON'T BACK DOWN! Go HERE (UPS FAQ) Keep us advised...:disgust:
looks like I am going to have to call directron maybe they can do something like next day air free? UPS said that they will call them tommorow but said that I need to call directron too so I will see what happens!
I have already talked to the UPS people and I didnt even get my case it was supposed to be delivered today. So I guess they just took it back to there office.
It is the shippers resonsability to deal with items damaged in shipping. Contact them and they get to go after UPS. That is just one of the joys of being in the mail order business.
As far as insurance goes UPS has a $100 limit unless extra was purchased at $.35 per $100. The SX1030 is only about $85 so you should be all set.

the problem is it wont even get delivered to my house because on my order status page it just says damaged in transit so I guess I will call up directron, will they send me a new one or what?
hmmm strange they rescheduled the delivery for tommorow when I get it what should I tell them? just give it back to them also you can see my order using this tracking # 1Z13643W0358412085
UPS is getting worse and worse. I go and drop off packages down at their main office, bunch of low lifes working there.
