I was checking some of the HR stuff in advance of getting married, and I noticed that I've got 2 Federal allowances and 1 for my state. Filing single . . .

Should I just leave it at two, or will I get a little more $$$ in my paycheck if I put it to one?
 
Hmm, cool. Good to know. I usually end up owing about ~20 bucks on my taxes with things the way they are, if I changed my allowance my paycheck would go down and I'd end up giving the gubmint an interest free loan . . .

Although looking at that calculator my, my tax rate will decrease once I change filing status to married . . . it's a SCAM!
