stupid stupid ebay seller.....

so I found this motherboard on ebay that I wanted and it took me a while to find it at $xx.xx. I also noticed that the seller had 10 of them so I thought I'd email him to see if maybe we can work out something if I were to purchase a couple. So I pitch him an offer for 2 of them for $xx.xx amount w/ shipping. Now the price I offered him wasn't a loball offer, it was a decent amount given the fact that you can combine the shipping on both of the items, also I was very courteous and I did not force him to give me a discount. The seller denied my request (fine with me), so instead I decided to just buy 1. I go and click the "buy it now" button and proceed to put in 1 as the quantity.

and then.....

Transaction Blocked

WTF???@#$@#?? Its not liked I harrased you with 5 emails about lowering the price for 1 item...... I just thought it was a little immature..... well I got my friend to get one for me so its all gravy..... I think I'm going to send him an email once I get the product and tell him "Got the mobo, Thanks!"..... stupid ebayer...

Hmmm, didn't know there was a rule for transaction outside of ebay (which I think is kinda retarded)... either way, if he didn't want to make a transaction outside of ebay thats fine with me.... but I was actually going to purchase the product through ebay at the sellers asking price until he blocked me.

I love blocking bidders. Whenever I get a lowball, I say yes, then I also say somehting like "for a limited time, you can have 50% off of all my auctions for the next week, as long as you bid using your username.

give him negative feedback at the way end of the feedback allotment period to give him little time to respond in kind. have it say something to the effect of "seller blocked original buyer from the purchase so i had to purchase for him instead!"

ebay only makes money if the transaction is through the site, how is the rule stupid for ebay?
