My submission:

Stick a few of those AOL coasters (i.e., any cd) with the data side up into your microwave and turn it on for about 10 seconds (however, make sure you're ready to stop it after about 3-5 seconds) - coolest thing I've ever seen (try it, dont wanna spoil it) - learnt that from work. Leave it in too long and it'll catch on fire though. (And it smells)

That microwave thing sounds interesting.....
I once put a bowl in the microwave, but accidently left the metal spoon in it. So I turned it on and when It rotated the spoon hit the side, There was a purple flash, then black smoke, so I turned the microwave off and there was a black mark on the side of it and a really hot spoon. Interesting story, eh?

When I'm really bored, I'll go and make myself a cup of tea. Only, I'll place the cup on the kitchen sideboard, go to the door (about ten feet away) and attempt to throw a tea bag directly into the cup. Only then will I have my tea. Sometimes this can take hours (particularly when I've been drinking..), but there have been occasions when I've succeeded within a couple of throws. Oh the skill!. Now if I am really, really bored, I'll do this left handed, for extra skill points.
