okay, i installed the single-player demo of pandora tomorrow, and it works fine. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 8200 with a geforce4 Go 64MB. no problems at all. but the thing is, is that geforce4MX and geforce4Go arent supported, and yet it still runs fine.
not finished yet...
i installed the multiplayer demo of pandora tomorrow, and it says my video card doesnt meet the requirements...i dont get it. it does like a check of your comp to see if multiplayer works, and i pass every test except for 2, which deal with my graphics. its weird, because single is fine, yet multi is screwed up.
I also saw the supported chipsets, and i saw this:
3. Supported chipsets:
ATI 8500/9000/9500/9700
NVIDIA® GeForce3 family
NVIDIA GeForce4 family but GeForce4 MX and GeForce4 Go
4. Not Supported:
GeForce 4MX and GeForce 4Go, Game Pad
Note: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some disc and virtual drives. (WTF?)
I'm surprised where ATI 9800 and the GeforceFX family are...
can someone clarify this? thanks, and sorry if i should have posted this on the software, apps, programming, and games forum...
thanks.
