Is this Creative Lab sound blaster Live! 5.1 PCI Sound Card

The same as the Sound Blaster® Live! Platinum 5.1 Found Here

But without the Live Drive that can be purchased sperately?

sound blaster live 5.1 is the same as the Live platinum 5.1 but with out the Live Drive II. the basic card is the same.

It appears that all of the SB Live! 5.1s are the same cards just bundled with different stuff. That newegg deal sounds pretty good...

Heck even without the live drive this sound card would still blow away my Diamond Monster MX400 sound card.

If I decide to get that live drive I can just order it from their website.

Dang $70 sounds tempting
