Stupid snowstorm - I am stuck at home

I am stuck at home and can't get to work because the parking lot here is not plowed. It has been snowing nonstop since yesterday afternoon. There is a foot and a half of snow in the parking lot and drifts up 4 feet high.

The landlord said it will be plowed eventually.

I will lose a day's pay because of this.

While I was checking out the parking lot I noticed several really stupid drivers and pedestrians too. 2 seniors were walking in the street instead of the sidewalks and were yelling at the traffic.

A plow was clearing the main road and dumped a huge amount of snow in the parking lot entrance.

Looks like I am not going anywhere fast.

Update: no change in my parking lot. My sister called and wanted me to help her because she is stuck. I was LOL because I can't get out of my parking lot. Told her to call CAA.

is it legal to install plows on your vehicle to move snow yourself?

I have no exp. with snow btw.

LOL.

not sure to be honest.

Snow is something everyone should experience so they'll appreciate the warm weather more.

Yes, it most definitely is. It's not like the snow *belongs* to anyone. Just make sure not to damage any property when doing it.

Back when we were in Ohio, lots of people would put plows on their vehicles to take care of back country roads the city tended to take their time on, and would make arrangements with stores and people to plow their driveways and parking lots for payment.

Lots of snow in Dayton too. About 16 in. last report.

I'm supposed to be heading west on I-70 right now. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
