stupid question

On my windows NT system at work somehow I moved the title bar that's always on the bottom with the start button to the top of the page????? I dragged it by accident but now cannot get it back down where I prefer it the bottom of the screen. I have tried moving to different resolutions so I could try and get my pointer on it to drag it back down but no go....is there something easy that I'm missing here?

Try this (I am not sure if it will fix it but...), shrink the size of your screen with your monitor controls. Shrink it from the top and bottom and try to move the taskbar. I am not sure of this will work or not, but try it out anyway. You have nothing to lose. But I do have one question. What is telling you that you cant move it back down to the bottom? You should just be able to drag and drop. Does a crosshairs show up when you try to move it? I hope this helps.

I can put my cursor on the bottom of the bar and move it downwards this extends the window... but I can't get the top of it, my cursor is just stopping at the black and I am getting no crosshair. 🙁

Try dragging it to one side of the screen first and then after it's locked there, drag it back down to the bottom. That's how I've fixed this before on user's desks.

Brn...thanks you were close although I couldn't even get my cursor to crosshair on either side, the sides extended beyond the screen on both sides.....and trying to drag it to the side a little didn't work either but I was able to bring the side in by holding the left mouse button down for a couple seconds then the taskbar seemed to show a funny line and it moved in about a half of an inch. I perceded to do the same thing while angling inward at the bottom of the taskbar now on the side and it dragged back down to the bottom...THANKS 🙂
