Stupid question....

At night I ran over a some kind of road island (the center divider thingy)

Both of my left tires got punctured. My car ended up towed and I'm on my rental now....

Is there anyway my tire's warranty cover that? I just bought these brand new BFG Goodrich T/A tires past December.....

Please advise...

[edit]
By the way the dealer is charging $620 for repairs.. WTF. Two tires, rims + labor...

This has to be some kind of troll posting. You know you are going to get raped by everyone on this board for asking that. You're the dumbass who couldn't control the car, why should the tire place have to pay for your stupid mistake.

Sorry for asking.. Doesn't hurt to ask.

It depends, some places might sell you a replacement contract, so if anything happens to the tires, they will replace them. If you didnt buy something like that, then you are probably out of luck.

How did you run over a road island again? Were you piss drunk or just retarded? Anyhow, I highly doubt that your warranty would cover it, sounds like you're SOL.

How the hell would we know what your tire warranty covers? Find out for yourself.

any company honoring warranties on idiocy would go out of business so fast

Costco is still in business and doing very well, thank you very much. I bet if the OP bought his tires from Costco, they would replace them for free and no question ask.

Sounds like he did a cerb check at 20-30 mph. Nice going Ace!

I know that most of the places around here would not replace them if that much damage has been done to them.

You call it rape, I say it was consensual. 😉

If anything, his car attempted to rape the traffic island, and got pwned....

As has been mentioned, the ONLY possible way you will have any kind of warranty, is if you have road hazard coverage. Even that may be questionable, but MAYBE...afterall, you DID hit something in the roadway...it just happened to be a stationary asphalt & concrete divider...I've seen road hazard warranties cover damage from the "tire shredders" used in parking lots, so this isn't out of the realm of possibility...

A Road Hazard Warranty will cover replacing the tire regardless of how the damage occured.

I ripped the sidwall completely out of one of my tires while offroading (tree roots are a lot stronger than you think!) and it was covered. They didn't even ask how 50% of the entire sidewall got cut open like that. 😀

If it was due to negligence it will not be covered. Of course, a person could get lucky and they won't ask how it happened.
Are the rims bent?

$620 actually sounds pretty reasonable for two tires, two rims and labor. You didn't tell us what kind of car you have, btw.

That said, unless you got the road hazard warranty, I don't see anybody taking you seriously when you tell them you ran up on the center divider and want them to replace your tires.
