why in the hell do people post "stupid question" threads in forums? if it's so damn stupid, don't post it. and i really wish people would at least attempt googling for an answer to a simple questions. obviously when you need the tech support and troubleshooting that these wonderful forums offer, you're not going to find that on google, but c'mon people!

Well that's a stupid question.

You are

I don't mind people asking stupid questions just a question for someone else to help them out.

People who tell other people to refer to google or such that annoys me at times. I'd help the person asking the stupid question if I could........

there's something to be said for self-sufficiency. why is it that parents give thier kids allowances? to teach them the value of and how to appropriately spend money. if you keep just paying thier way and shove them out into the real world, expect the child's financial problems to eponentially grow

that my friend, is an thoughtless, idiotic cliche

Who's stupider? The person who asks the question or the person who doesn't ask it to give the appearance that they know the answer? "If you hide your ignorance, no one will hit you and you'll never learn."

That being said, there's a lot of stuff that gets asked here that could easily be handled with an "I'm feeling lucky" Google search. Blame it on the nef.

I never got an allowance (I did the goddamn chores because that's what you do to earn your keep, christ they already feed and clothe you) and I can manage my paychecks just fine, thanks.

First off, learn basic English skills before trying to present yourself as having an intelligent point of view (pet peeve, I'm sorry. We all make mistakes, but yours are numerous). Second, I certainly hope you are never in charge of anything that has any impact on others, seeing as you're just too damn smart to ask questions and admit you don't know everything. If someone asks whether to push the red button, would you rather have them ask or just guess?

i never said that you shouldn't ask a question and pretend to know

instead of asking a stupid question, why don't you go figure it out for yourself

asking a question which can be easily answered with a little effort is an act of sheer laziness

apparently you'd be a person to answer a stupid question. you weren't interested in pointing out my supposed mistakes so i can learn from them, you just thought you'd issue your two red. i often don't like people who offer critisism without suggesting what to do to make it better. but that would be my lack of inteligent POV talking again

I can't teach you how to spell and form sentences in one post.

There are no stupid questions at ATOT. However there are John John Posts which is enough to make one question whether today's youth is worthy of feeding!

Then there are adults who can't spell...I don't think I should have to elaborate on that.

This is Off Topic right? So you don't come to this forum to get your fill of commentry on world events. You don't come here to figure out why you computer isn't working. But you do come here with the ability to determine which thread you want to read or don't read. If you don't like stpid questions then don't read the darn things.

And... if I have a really, really stupid question or completely silly thought on something I will make a bee line to this forum and let 'er rip. Why not!
