Stupid question! voltage for the amd athlon???

Im just about putting together a new computer, And I thought I knew the amd athlon (t-bird) 900 mhz, was running at a 1.6 v. But the mobo is giving it 1.85 what is correct? I got very uncertian now!

The 900 T-Bird Socket A voltage is 1.75V

Maximum is 1.85V

Can you adjust it by jumper or bios to set 1.75? If you can and it runs fine then it should also run cooler.

BTW: your monitoring software could be off, have you tried the bios values or MBM?

It seems like it is a problem with the MSI k7t turbo, thanks for your information! should I set the voltage lesser than 1,75 to get it to run at 1,75 or is this just something wrong with the voltage readings?

Also, why does VIAHardwareMonitor always read my voltage at 1.78v when set at 1.7, and 1.93v when it is running at 1.85v
