Stupid question I know but I have to ask.

Unlike XP where you have to have a copy for each one you own unless you find a way around it.

I got 4 computers and I dont want to buy anymore damn xp disks. I also want to stay legit. I dont want to go back to using my windows 98 if I dont have to so will windows 2000 let me install on more then one computer like 98 will?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I couldnt find anything on this on google and I wnet right from 98 to xp so I dont know much about 2000.

AND if I did downgrade will I loose much? Games, drivers, stuff like that will it be effected?

Windows 2000 will take no action to prevent your installing it on multiple machines; but, as Rilex said, unless you have enough seats and/or a site licence you will be in violation of the relevant agreements. Odds of your actually being busted, quite small. But if you want to stay legit, you have to pay and pay and pay, that's the fun of dealing with Microsoft.
