Stupid question for Tivo users

Okay, I know stupid question but is there anyway to send the output of the Tivo to my T41 laptop? Purchase an A/V-svideo cable and hook it up to out of tivo and svideo to my laptop?

If you have a network which includes your laptop and your TiVo and you have TiVoToGo (have they gotten to everybody yet?), download the TiVo desktop software to your laptop, then you'll have access to all the programs you TiVo'd and can transfer them to the laptop to watch.

Go to werk's link for better instructions.

Problem is I have a series 1 tivo 🙁

What I'm trying to do is get my stupid tivo to dial out without a landline, I've been using the serial --> comp --> internet to dial out but since I've moved the computer is far away from the Tivo. So I'm not sure what I can do 🙁

Ah, so you asked a question that has absolutely nothing to do with what you actually want to know. Clever! Try here . Maybe someone else has already solved the problem. Good luck!

Ok, like allisolm said, I'm not sure what this has to do with your OP, but an easy solution to this problem is to use one of these
