Stupid Question: Combining different timings

I know this is probably a pretty ignorant question for this forum, but here goes: I bought 2x2GB OCZ 7-7-7-? memory when I bought the above equipment. I wanted to upgrade to 8GB, but that memory isn't made any longer so I bought some G.Skill Ripjaws (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL), which is 2x4GB with 9-9-9-24 timing. They plugged right in without a problem, and the XMP got everything squared away without me having to change a thing.

The OCZ is @1.65V and the G.Skill is @1.5V.

It kills me to waste my old RAM. Can it be used in my system without compromising performance or stability?

yes you can use all four DIMMs.

you wont hurt the gskill by running it at 1.65v.

i would run the slower timings across all DIMMs though, 9-9-9-24.
