Can a wireless router be used as a switch?
I have one CAT5 coming from the wall (already routed through a wireless router in another room). I want to put that CAT5 into an old Linksys router I have and send one output to the Xbox One and another into a powerline adapter (so we can get internet in a room that does not currently have a CAT5 outlet).
I don't want to use any wireless features of the Linksys (in fact, I'd like to find a way to turn that off). I just want it act like a switch.
Thanks in advance for any advice offered!
