Stupid question: are all internal HDs magnetically shielded?

Just wondering. I was reading the booklet on my H/K soundsticks II, and it states that "although satellite speakers are magnetically shielded, you should keep them at least 4 inches away from magnetic media."

I assume they mean floppies and the like, but are hard drives magnetically shielded as well?

Thanks and please don't make fun it me! LOL i think I'm going to regret asking this question...

Actually no, but the low-power magnet in a speaker won't do a thing to your data. That's just lawyering to protect themselves.
