Stupid question about moving.

How, exactly, does one get any large furniture (e.g. sofa, bed frame, mattress, kitchen table) up to, say, the 30th floor of a condo building?
 
holy crap, i would think they'd have a freight elevator, ask the manager about getting a key to it while you move. otherwise i guess its the normal elevator for you

Ahhh... a freight elevator. didn't think of that.

I was imagining trying to fit some of this stuff into a, you know, normal elevator...

That, or lugging it up 30 flights of stairs.

Gives a whole new meaning to, "Hey buddy, can you help me move a few things?"
