After Forman and House incorrectly diagnosed the lady with an auto-immune disease they gave her "full body" radiation to destroy her ability to fight infection.
Im guessing that this would kill off all of her white blood cells, T cells and any other infection fighting cells that the body produces, leaving the body defenseless against any further infection.
My question is if the radiation is powerful enough to do all that why didnt it kill the infection that was residing in her body ( which they didnt know about originally ) and that eventually caused her death?
