I got a asus p4pe and a thermalright sk-7.... Am I just retarded or are there not the three clips on the cpu mount (on the mobo) that I need to secure the heat sink to the cpu... I looked on each side of the thing and there aren't three little tabs on ANY of the sides... I donno what to do... thanks

To use the SK-7 with your P4PE, you'll need an adapter plate like this one. Welcome to the Forums by the way :)

Thanks,
I wish I had known this before I ordered the sk-7... I don't know whether or not to order the adapter or to return the heat sink and order a new one

If you decide to exhange, Alpha's PAL8942 is considered one of the best, and a YS Tech 80mm fan with manual RPM adjustment would allow for fine-tuning the noise/performance ratio. Thermalright's AX-478 would be another fairly nice one that takes 80mm fans.
