Stupid Question #3648

Ok. I have a Gigabyte Ga-7NNXP motherboard. I have had it for about 20 months and I love it. I was running 2x512mb ddr pc3200. recently I decided to get another 2x512mb pc3200 but came to find that it will not run.

According to Gigabyte only slots 1 & 2 can run double sided modules and slots 2 & 3 need to have single sided modules. While I know the difference between the two, I have no idea how to search for them so I can buy them.

Is there certain keywords I need to use while searching the Kingston or Newegg sites?

Also, if anyone know of any good suggestions, I would appreciate it. I am currently using Kingston Value Ram.

do they make 512mb ddr pc3200 one sides modules?

I search Newegg for 'high density' and found nothing.

I highly doubt it. If you buy 1GB sticks, it should be detected as 512MB. 🙂
