Stupid Q...Remote and Leadtek TV Card...how?

Ok, I just got my remote for my Leadtek TV Tuner card. I bought it off of AT FS Forums, love the card but the guy I got it from honestly forgot the remote. No biggie cause he sent it anyways and I just got it today. Ok, so I think I'm doing something wrong, like missing something small.

I have the little white sensor thing plugged into the card and have it up near the monitor. Changed batteries in the remote. Tried pressing buttons and nothing has worked.

What am I missing?

Are you pressing the ON button before you press the other buttons? 😛 I can't answer your question, honestly. I have 2 Leadtek cards, one Deluxe and one Expert. Both have worked flawlessly right out of the box. I didn't have to configure the remote or the PVR software in any way.

Perhaps the remote is just busted? 😕

Can you buy replacement remotes from someplace?

Here are your U.S. contact options. I don't know if they'll be able to sell/provide you with a new remote but it's definitely worth the effort to ask. Maybe you need to make some inquiries to the seller?
