I know.. it's prolly been up here 1000000000000000000000000 times already but I can't find it.

Please help me out!

My harddrive died on me today but I was able to install windows xp @ 1900 mhz at 1.55 V actual voltage.. Maybe it could go even higher with higher voltage.

i dont think you actually need to unlock them, the L3 bridge trick is only for enabling the Low mults, which i would assume are already enabled since the mult of xp1800+ is 11.5

have you tried adjusting the mult?

Tbreds come with L1 bridges closed from the factory. Change Multiplier from bios as Champion says.....though you might be limited to 12.5X, depends on the mobo...some can do only low range, one or two to date can do both high and low ranges.

kt400 and nf2 can access all multipliers.

kt333 and nf1 need to be unlocked to access anything higher than 12.5

Don't go by chipset, go by individual mobos as bios doe the setting. Asus A7N8X (nf2) does default multiplier in either range in bios Auto option, but does only 5X thru 12.5X low range in bios manual set option. See bios section in manual page 2-16.

Okay. I have an Asus A7V 333 mobo. I should be able to manipulate the multiplier without any modification then?

Will try again when my new harddrive arrives.

Thanx.
