I go to Publix to grab some grub for lunch... I usually get a sub/wrap, but i decided to change it up today and get fried chicken.
They have a sign above the counter saying the following:
So i tell the lady behind the counter and she starts getting the chicken out. Without asking she grabs the breast, a leg, and a wing. Well i hate wings, so i ask her to have the Thigh instead of the wing and she gives me a look like i just attempted to kill her first born.
"We dont do that..." she grumbles..... Its Breast or Thigh, not both. So i politely point out what the sign says and she repeats, "We dont do that... I've been here for years and we never do that."
WTF
So i ask her why not? And she walks away and gets another associate. I ask her the same question and she repeats, Breast or Thigh, not both. So i decide screw this, i'll get something else. As i begin to walk away she says "Fine, we'll do it for you THIS time, but next time no."
Read the sign and tell me what you interpret it as. Granted this is trivial, but still, I think i may write a small letter to the manager telling her she needs to fix her signs because AFAIK i was correct.
