stupid PSU question...

I have an antec PP-352X 350watt PSU, and there is a black and white wire that was connected to a 3-pin fanlike socket on the motherboard. I don't remember quite what it says since I'm at a relatives house to use their comp, but it says "sys run" or start or something. The computer turns on normally, but unless that's connected, it won't display anything. I bought a new motherboard, and it doesn't have this connection on it. Do I have to buy another PSU? Or is there something I can do to get it to boot without having that connected. I tried cutting it off out of desperation, but that didn't work =) Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

- The brown connector at the end of the B&W wire says "KSP - 2510" if that means anything.

Try swapping molex's around.
If that psu (can't be arsed looking it up at the moment) has dual rails - maybe doesn't like drives and graphics being on the same rail.
