as the title says...My mouse is not working, and I won't be able to get a replacement until tomorrow. So I am now navigating windows/the all important anandtech website using my keyboard. This is VERY annoying. So far, I've managed to remember that minimize is winkey+m, but tabbing around anandtech is rather tedious. argh

I think you can control your mouse cursor with your numeric keypad..
just have to change some settings...

I would have had an extra handy if I werent at college-i didnt want to bring my extra hardware, and didnt think to bring a mouse. doh. luckily, its family weekend-and my family is bring me 4 mice tomorrow morning. Can anyone post how to change settings so i can use numeric keypad as a mouse? I'd appreciate that

update:found it under accesability options

Go to
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Accessibility options >
Click on Mouse Tab, Click Checkbox "Use Mousekeys"
Then click "OK"

(Okay, maybe you can't click all the stuff, using the tab should work.)

you can play with the numeric keypad to see what it can do...
numlock -> toggle on/off
- = right (specifies which click it is when u hit 5)
/ = left
5 = click, 5-5 = double-click

left-right-up-down as expected.. moving the cursor

EDIT: ah well, too late...
