Are "pique" polo's the ones made out of "t-shirt" material or are they the thicker, higher quality, ones Ralph Lauren/Nautica/etc uses?

GLOSSARY
MOST ASKED ABOUT TERMS
Piqué [peeKAY] - A knitted fabric with a waffle, or diamond-shaped, pattern. French piqué knits became an international favorite when René Lacoste, a 1920's French tennis champion, designed the polo shirt. We recommend you choose a pique polo shirt for most uses. Although, it's usually a heavier fabric, its "meshy" knit provides a great deal of "breathability".

to summarize: It's a fabric that better hides MBHO (man-boob hard-on.)... which the average male needs to consider when wearing polos.

Most of my polos are pique, they tend to last a little longer than the other "t-shirt" material like ones and also alow a breeze to pass through in the summer, definintly a neccesity on casual friday
