If I depoisted a check in my Canadian bank account in the amount of $1,762.50 USD and ended up with $1,903.50 CDN, what was the exchange rate?

In January you would've gotten 1.18 canadian dollars for every 1 USD deposited. Start gambling and waiting to deposit your checks ;)

EDIT: Switched

lol, not with the way things have been going.. I'd probably lose more money that way. I should actually deposit all of it into a US funds bank account and then exchange it when the rate is high (if that day ever comes again).

A couple of years ago that check would have been worth over $2,700

$1903.50 / $1762.50 = $1.08
