So there have been a few mac ads today during the Bears Vikings game, and the last one was making fun of Windows spending money on advertising...

Kind of ironical since there have been zero windows ads and several mac ads so far.

If Apple wanted to be smarter with their advertising, they would quit advertising the Mac OS vs Windows angle. It's a waste of money, and it doesn't help them. Word of mouth and limited advertising for their other products works well, and they should leave it at that.

There have been 2 windows ads recently.... Both of them are just wasting money. Mac is just wasting money making fun of PC, and windows is wasting money by having a bunch of random people say "I'm a pc"

What about the Windows ad with Jerry Sienfield? MS paid him like a million bucks to do it.

I'd say all of Apple's commercials combined haven't cost them a fraction of that one dumb ass MS one with Jerry in it.

I've seen 20x as many mac ads in the last few years then windows ads. So making fun of spending money on advertising was kind of funny.

I like the "I'm a PC" ads, shows you regular people use Windows and PC. All the Mac commercials are smug as hell, just like their fanboys.

I wonder what Apple's market share is these days? I would guess it's increasing. Not that they'll ever overtake Windows PCs.

"regular people" = R-tards who can't follow simple instructions like "don't fucking go to any and all random sites and infect my computer with spyware and viruses - assfuckbitchho!"

smug isn't so bad...

It's approaching 10% in the United States. Apple doesn't want to overtake Windows. Just get a good foothold in the market.

I find it more ironic that Mac has spent the majority of their cash on advertising for the last decade. Hell, it's the only reason they manage to sell computers. Wondows ads have been quite rare, and rather simple until the newest batch.

...I don't even remember ads for XP.
